01What it is
A location is a place where work is done, not just the company address: a base, a warehouse, an office or a storage yard. One location is the default.
Employees, sites with this base, tools and equipment, and stock belong to a location. A location that holds any of these cannot be deleted until you move them.
The coordinates of a base set the starting point of the inspection route. Enter both or neither.

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Settings › Locations and choose Add a location.
- STEP 2Enter the name, pick the Warehouse type and the country, and fill in the address, warehouse code and contact person.
- STEP 3Save. The location appears for stock movements.
- STEP 1Open the base for editing and enter its latitude and longitude.
- STEP 2Save. The inspection route will start at this base.
- STEP 1A location with employees, sites, equipment or stock movements cannot be deleted.
- STEP 2Untick Location active so it is no longer used, or move the assigned records first.
