01What it is
The inspection route collects the objects where, within the chosen horizon, an inspection of operational or faulty devices is due. Objects with overdue inspections are at the top. Only an object with coordinates can go on the route; the Without coordinates tile shows how many objects with an inspection are left out for that reason.
A route starts at a company base, that is an active location with coordinates. The order of stops is the shortest possible, not an approximation. Kilometres are an estimate: a straight line times a road factor of 1.25. The map uses no external service.
- FEWER KILOMETRES
- Compared with driving by due dates.
- OVERDUE AT THE TOP
- Objects past their due date first.
- DAY PLAN
- The route on the technician’s phone.
02What it is for
No empty runs
The shortest order of visits from the base, with or without a return.
The saving is visible
A tile shows by how many kilometres and what percentage the route is shorter than driving by due dates.
Overdue items do not wait
Objects with an overdue inspection are at the top of the list and carry an overdue marker.
The route in the technician’s pocket
The technician sees the saved day plan on their phone and ticks off the stops.
03Main options
The route screen works in two steps: choosing objects, then a map with the planned route. Both steps and saving the day plan are described below.
Objects with an inspection in the horizon
A horizon of 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. The first five objects are ticked.
- Building, town, number of devices and overdue ones
- The nearest due date in the object
- Base and Return to the starting point
- Plan route: at most 12 stops

The order of stops on the map
The base, numbered stops and the driving line.
- Clicking a stop: devices, due date, leg and kilometres from the start
- Route length and the saving compared with driving by due dates
- Change selection takes you back to the list of objects

A route for the technician on a chosen day
The saved plan is exactly the route shown on the map.
- Day: today or later
- Technician: one plan per person per day
- Notes on the route

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Fire protection › Inspection route.
- STEP 2Choose the horizon, e.g. Inspections within 30 days, and tick the objects in the On route column.
- STEP 3Choose the base, decide on Return to the starting point and choose Plan route.
- STEP 1On the map of the planned route choose Save as day plan.
- STEP 2Choose the day and the technician, add notes and save.
- STEP 3The plan card opens in Route plans.
- STEP 1Check the Without coordinates tile. An object without coordinates cannot go on the route.
- STEP 2Add the coordinates on the object card or extend the horizon.
