01What it is
Objects is the register of the buildings, halls, grounds, installations and units the company works on. Each object has a type, a stage from planned to out of use, an address, floors, area, a handover date and the end of its warranty.
An object with no site is correct: that is what a building you only service looks like. You attach it to a site from the site card, and the same building can go through construction, then a system replacement and a refurbishment.
The customer is assigned to the object, not to the site. The Fire safety by customer overview relies on this assignment.
- BUILDING HISTORY
- Floor plans, devices, issues and projects on one card.
- INSPECTION DATES
- The number of fire safety devices, with a warning about how many are overdue.
- TIMELINE FOR DISPUTES
- Photos, entries and reports from a chosen period in one view.
02What it is for
The state of an object in one place
Devices with their next due date, open issues and the projects that concern it.
Inspections month by month
A chart shows how many devices are due in each month and how many are already overdue.
Evidence in a dispute
The timeline puts the photo from the first day of work next to the issues and reports from that period.
Serving the building manager
The customer assigned to the object sees the fire safety state of all their buildings.
03Main options
The object card has tabs: Floor plans, Overview, Fire equipment, Issues, Projects, Photos, Documents and Timeline. An object with a plan opens on Floor plans. The four used most often are described below.
Object data and sites
Address, size and dates, and the sites the object has taken or is taking part in.
- Address, floors, area and coordinates
- Handover date and warranty end
- Sites with the period of the object’s participation
- A chart of device inspections in the coming months

Drawings of each level
The object’s floor plans with the number of markers and devices on each drawing.
- A new plan from the Management menu, with Add floor plan
- Penetration markers and fire safety devices on the drawing
- An object with a plan opens on this tab

Devices with their next due date
Extinguishers, hydrants, dampers and other devices standing in the object.
- The next inspection for every device
- A red marker when the date has passed
- A click opens the device card with its inspection history
- A device without a report is not scheduled, not overdue

Everything recorded on the object
The timeline creates nothing: it assembles what has already been recorded in projects, issues and reports.
- Diary entries and photos from every project on the object
- Issues pinned to the object and to its projects
- Fire safety device inspection reports and handovers
- A date range, for example from the first day of work

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Sites and objects › Objects and choose New object.
- STEP 2Enter the name, choose the type and stage and, if the building has a manager, select the customer.
- STEP 3Fill in the address and coordinates. Without coordinates the object appears neither on the map nor on the inspection route.
- STEP 1Open the object card and choose Add a device in the menu.
- STEP 2Choose the device type, enter the name and its location in the object. The activity schedule comes from the type template.
- STEP 1Open the object card and go to the Timeline tab.
- STEP 2Set the date range, for example from the first day of work, and narrow the kind of entries if needed.
- STEP 3Review the photos, diary entries, issues and reports from that period.
- STEP 1On the object card choose Report a problem in the menu.
- STEP 2The issue form already has the object filled in. Add the title, type, priority and due date.
