01What it is
Floor plans & markers is an overview of buildings with the number of plans, fire safety devices on drawings and markers. Buildings where something waits for a fix or a review come first. Clicking a building shows its plans, and clicking a plan opens the drawing with pins.
A marker is one penetration, seal, measurement, defect or general point. The pin colour is the marker state, and a black pin is a device. A marker starts as a draft, then moves through done and approved, or goes back for rework.
- DRAWING WITH PINS
- Markers and devices where they really are.
- MARKER REVIEW
- Draft, done, approved, or needs rework with a note.
- DRAWING VERSIONS
- Every revision with a SHA-256 checksum.
02What it is for
Penetrations where they are
Every fire-stop penetration has its place on the level drawing, not just a row in a table.
Review without paper
The supervisor approves a marker or returns it for fixing with a note on what to fix.
As-built documentation
An approved marker cannot be deleted, nor can a plan that has markers.
Materials at the penetration
A material added at a marker is issued from the site base store and goes into the project cost.
03Main options
The floor plan card has tabs: Drawing, Markers, Devices and Revisions.
The plan with marker and device pins
Clicking a pin shows its details and actions.
- Place marker: the button above the drawing, then a click on the penetration
- Place device: one of the object’s fire safety devices on the drawing
- Ctrl and the mouse wheel zoom, dragging pans the drawing
- Esc cancels placing a pin

Every version of the drawing
You upload a new drawing as a new revision. Markers remember which revision they were placed on.

- The SHA-256 checksum proves the file version
- Export a PDF plan to PNG at 2000 px or more
