Session and security

Two decisions for the whole company: after how long of inactivity the application signs out, and whether every account must sign in with a second factor. The second factor is a code from an app on the phone.

SESSION
30 minutes or 45–240
SECOND FACTOR
A code from a phone app

01What it is

Session time is the period of inactivity in the signed-in application after which the session expires. In automatic mode it is 30 minutes, and you can set your own time from 45 to 240 minutes in 15-minute steps. It is a setting for the whole company, not for a single account.

The second sign-in factor is a code from an app on the phone, with no SMS and no email. When the company owner requires it on all accounts, anyone without a second factor gets past the password only to the setup screen. Whoever already has a code keeps it.

There are no backup codes, so turning the requirement on needs a second person with the Configuration: edit permission. Only such a person opens the Users screen and can reset the second factor if a phone is lost.

AUTOMATIC SIGN-OUT
30 minutes or your own time up to 4 hours.
A CODE FROM THE PHONE
No SMS and no email.
THE OWNER DECIDES
The company owner turns on the requirement for all accounts.
