01What it is
A checklist template is a named list of points to tick off, assigned to a type of work or to any. A new company gets four templates: Works handover, Fire-stopping check, Fire-device inspection and Workplace check.
On the task card you choose a template and click Load. The points go into the task checklist as required, without duplicating those already there. Templates for the task's type of work come first in the picker.
A template is copied. Changing or deleting it later does not change checklists that already exist.
