01What it is
Fire device types are your company's own dictionary instead of a fixed list in the program. A new company gets 17 types, including fire extinguisher, wheeled extinguisher, hydrants, fire alarm system, sprinkler system, smoke control system, fire damper, fire door and emergency lighting.
Type parameters are the fields the technician fills in for each device of that type, for example agent and mass for an extinguisher or DN for a hydrant. The activity template is a list of activities with an interval in months.
The template is a suggestion: a new device gets a copy of it, and changing the template does not change devices already registered. The application documents the work done and does not rule on the intervals the regulations require.
