Fire activity types

The list of activities your company carries out on fire devices and records in reports: inspection, maintenance, overhaul, tests and measurements. Device type templates and device schedules are built from this list.

01What it is

Fire activity types are your company's own dictionary. A new company gets six activities: Inspection, Maintenance, Overhaul, Pressure vessel test, Pressure and flow test, and Function test.

The interval of an activity is not set here. The device type template holds the suggested interval, and each device's schedule holds the interval that applies.

An activity used in a schedule or a report cannot be deleted. You deactivate it: new templates and schedules will not get it, and the history stays.

The screen has the list of activities with how they are used, and the activity form.

  • Columns: name, in how many schedules, in how many reports, and state
  • Deactivate and activate an activity
  • Delete only an unused activity

04Tasks step by step

  1. STEP 1Open Settings › Fire activity types and click New activity.
  2. STEP 2Enter a name, for example Hose pressure test, and the order. Save.
  3. STEP 3Add the activity to a device type template or to a device schedule and set the interval there.
