01What it is
Equipment is the company’s plant with a location, a purchase date, a purchase value and a depreciation period. It also has a retail price and a project price, at which you bill its use to the customer.
The equipment card shows whether the equipment is ready, on site, overdue for inspection or retired. An issue to a site records the date, the project and the person who received the equipment; a return closes the issue.
Equipment that has been billed, quoted, has an inspection plan or an issue history does not disappear from the register: only an item with no history can be deleted.
