01What it is
A goods issue records material that leaves for a customer outside a project. The recipient is a customer from your files or a person outside them, entered by name.
A stock transfer records material that changes location: from the source base to the target warehouse. Transfers are also prepared by the Surplus screen.
A document starts as a draft. You add items on its record: from stock or free-text. On settlement a goods issue takes the material out of stock, and a transfer takes it out at the source and adds it at the target. A settled document cannot be changed or deleted.
- A DRAFT HAS NO EFFECT
- A draft document does not change stock levels.
- TWO MOVEMENTS IN A TRANSFER
- Minus at the source, plus in the target warehouse.
- SETTLED STAYS
- It cannot be edited or deleted.
02What it is for
An issue without a project
Material sold to a customer or issued outside a project has its own document.
Order between bases
A transfer records where the material came from and where it went.
Stock adds up
Settlement records the movements in the material’s history with the document number.
Document value
A tile adds up the value of settled documents.
03Main options

Document items
This is where you add items while the document is a draft.
