01What it is
Surplus sets requirement items in the Needed state against material sitting in other locations of the company. With every item you see the site, the project and the quantity needed.
Surplus is stock minus reservations minus minimum stock. Material below minimum stock is not offered, because it is needed where it sits.
The application does not move material by itself. It creates a stock transfer note from the source base to the site’s base and leaves it to settle: a person confirms the physical move by settling the document.

02What it is for
Fewer purchases
The Available from stock tile shows what you do not need to buy.
You know where to take it from
Up to three sources with the quantity and a breakdown into stock, reservations and minimum.
No robbing others
Reservations and minimum stock are deducted before anything appears on the list.
Transfer state
Each item shows the transfer number and whether it is settled.

The screen has a list of items to cover, a breakdown of the surplus into sources and the preparation of a transfer.

- The surplus quantity and the location or site where it sits

- Nowhere in stock when no location has a surplus
A transfer note instead of a purchase
The row menu, when there is a source and the site has a base.
- A transfer from the largest source to the site’s base, for the quantity needed or the whole surplus
- The document is left to settle, the application opens its record
- The Transfer column shows the transfer number and the state To settle or Settled
04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Materials and equipment › Surplus.
- STEP 2Set the Only those that can be covered filter.
- STEP 3The Sitting as surplus column shows the sources with the quantity.
- STEP 1In the row menu choose Prepare a transfer.
- STEP 2The application opens the transfer record. Check the item and the quantity.
- STEP 3When the material physically reaches the site’s base, settle the document in Stock documents.
- STEP 1When an item shows Site without a store, the transfer has nowhere to go.
- STEP 2Set the base in the site form and return to Surplus.
