01What it is
A reservation earmarks material from one location for a project. Physical stock does not change, but the available quantity drops at once.
When the project’s site has a base, you reserve only in its warehouse, and never more than is available. The warehouse is suggested automatically.
Issuing takes the material out of stock as used on the project. Releasing returns it to the available pool. An issued or released reservation stays on the list as history.
