01What it is
The schedule is a chart of the tasks of every project on the chosen site: one column per day, a bar from the task’s start to its end and a diamond on a milestone’s day. The window covers 4, 8, 12 or 26 weeks.
Undated tasks sit under the chart. Until they have a date they clash with nothing, but nobody remembers them either. A milestone is a date, not a task: it has no duration and no assignee.
- DOES THE PLAN ADD UP
- Conflicts calculated from what is already entered.
- FOUR KINDS OF CONFLICT
- Dependency, same person, crew elsewhere, past the deadline.
- MILESTONES
- A planned and an actual date for each.
02What it is for
The site plan on one screen
The tasks of all the site’s projects in one time window.
Conflicts before anyone arrives
The same person in two places or a crew assigned elsewhere shows up straight away.
Project deadline
A task past the project deadline is a conflict, not a note.
Points the rest depends on
Milestones, for example shell completed or installation handover.
03Main options
The schedule has a chart, a conflict band and a milestone table.
Tasks day by day
Rows grouped by project, columns are the days of the chosen window.
- A bar from the task’s start to its end, with the assignee
- A diamond on the milestone’s day
- Undated tasks under the chart
- Drawn by the browser, with no external service

What clashes
Every conflict points at two entered rows, so nothing has to be guessed.
- A broken dependency between two tasks
- The same person in two places at once
- A crew assigned elsewhere on that day
- A task past the project deadline

A date and its meaning
A point in time that the rest of the plan depends on.
- Project, name, planned date and order
- Date reached
- State: planned, in progress, reached, moved, cancelled

04Tasks step by step

- STEP 2Choose the project, enter the name, for example shell completed, and the planned date.
- STEP 3The milestone appears on the chart as a diamond.
