01What it is
An absence is a period in which a team member does not work on sites: a holiday, sick leave, training or another absence. You enter the person, the type, the first and the last day, and the application counts the days and makes sure two absences of the same person do not overlap.
The entry changes the plan at once. A person absent on a given day is not planned on any site, so they do not appear among the planned on the dashboard, on the phone or in the expected days of the timesheet. A task assigned to them in that period shows in the schedule as a conflict.
Deleting an absence returns the person to the plan for those days. When a holiday gets shorter, simply correct the end date in the same entry.
