01What it is
An approval is a request to the customer for a decision on a project, a quote or a scope change. It has a type, a value, a title for the customer, a description and a date after which it expires.
You choose the recipient from the customer’s contacts in the customer records, and the customer receives an e-mail with a link. On the page they enter the address the request was sent to and make one decision: accept or reject.
The decision changes the status of a linked quote in the Draft or Sent state and the status of a scope change. Only one request can be pending for a single item.
- A DECISION IN WRITING
- Approval or rejection with a date and the customer’s comment.
- THE QUOTE UPDATES ITSELF
- The customer’s decision sets the status of the quote or the scope change.
- RECIPIENT FROM THE RECORDS
- The link goes only to an address from the customer’s contacts.
